CSWDC is a complex, publically owned, multi-building site (with a wide range of ages and construction types). GCA have provided external support to an internal, independent facilities management team.

For over ten years, GCA have provided the design of substructure, superstructure, and external works, as well as advising on demolition, drainage, and construction techniques.

GCA have supported sustainable development on the site with carbon-conscious Engineering Designs which minimise the carbon footprint of each project.

Industry awards

GCA received a Commendation from the Institution of Structural Engineers for highly environmentally efficient installation of new plant using a fraction of the originally required steelwork and carbon footprint.
