The right candidate(s) should have gained their CEng and be familiar with Microdrainage, AutoCAD including Civils 3D with a good knowledge of Site 3d and PDS.Essential skills include detailed analysis and modelling of drainage, 3D highway design and alignment, including horizontal and vertical alignment detail. Plus knowledge of various Council Council design standards. Desirable skills include concept design including a working knowledge of drainage design standards and good practice including SuDS. A sound commercial awareness is essential along with the ability to undertake a client-facing role. Ability to mentor junior staff would be advantageous.
Personal attributes to include a diligent approach to project management, the ability to prioritise, with excellent time management skills. Meticulous attention to detail and effective communication both written and oral are essential. You will also demonstrate confident team/networking skills.
Core design areas include expertise in detailed drainage design including drainage networking. Highway design. FRA’s. Transport assessments. Detailed knowledge of Section 38, 278, 184, 185, 104, 106. Cut and fill design and analysis.
