Construction Excellence Awards 2021 - The Silk Mill Award Winner
GCA recently entered one of our recent projects - The Museum of Making at the Silk Mill in Derby, a £17m conversion of a Grade II listed Mill, and site of the world's first factory - into four categories at the East Midlands Construction Excellence Awards.We are very pleased to announce that the project won all four categories, including the Conservation and Regeneration Award, and a fifth for Building Project of the Year and Winner of Winners!
It's a fantastic outcome, and all down to the collaboration approach taken on the project with the rest of the design team.
Particular thanks to Rosie Stevenson, Andrew Thompson, Mani Ghomi and Steve Jeffreys who all took key roles on the project.
